Why Zaque

What founders tell us matters most

Someone who listens first

We spend the first part of every engagement understanding your situation before offering any direction. Advice that fits requires knowing the full picture.

Plain-language deliverables

Every session ends with something written and usable — not decks full of frameworks but a short, clear note you can act on that same week.

Paced to your reality

We don't push founders to move faster than their situation allows. The pace is set by what's actually happening in your company, not by a programme timeline.

No conflicts, no commissions

We are paid only by you, which keeps our perspective independent. We have no product to sell and no referral arrangement that could colour our view.

Grounded in Colombia's context

Our experience is rooted in the Colombian market. We understand local capital dynamics, regulatory considerations, and the specific texture of building here.

Confidential by default

Everything you share stays between us. We don't discuss client situations with third parties, and we're willing to formalize that in writing if it's helpful.

Take the next step

Would it help to talk through where things stand?

A short conversation costs nothing. If it feels like a good fit, we'll suggest the most sensible way to work together.

Common Questions

Things founders often ask us

What kind of founders do you typically work with?
Most of our clients are early-stage founders — people in their first one to three years of building, often navigating a company for the first time. We also work with slightly more established teams preparing to raise a first round or restructure their operations. The common thread is that they want a thoughtful outside perspective, not a prescribed programme.
How does a First Steps Review session work?
We begin with a short pre-session questionnaire that helps us understand your situation before we meet. The session itself runs for approximately two hours — either in person at our Bogotá office or via video call. Afterwards, you receive a plain-language written summary within five business days outlining what we discussed and the agreed next actions.
Is the Build Companion available remotely?
Yes. While many of our Bogotá-based clients prefer to meet in person, the Build Companion arrangement works just as well over video. The fortnightly sessions and the shared working document travel easily across formats. Founders in Medellín, Cali, and other Colombian cities join remotely without any difficulty.
How long does the Readiness Study take, and what do we receive at the end?
The Readiness Study runs for four weeks from the date we begin. At the end you receive a prioritized roadmap document and a short investor-facing overview — both written to be readable by people outside your company. We also schedule a rehearsal session so you can practice the conversations you're preparing for before they happen.
Are the prices in your services section fixed?
The prices listed are our standard rates in Colombian pesos. We don't typically negotiate on pricing for individual services, but we're happy to discuss what's most appropriate for your situation — particularly if you're considering more than one service or a longer working relationship.
How do we get started?
Fill in the contact form below or send a message to [email protected]. We aim to respond within one business day. The first step is usually a brief call to understand your situation and confirm which service makes the most sense.
